i would go with BB 8900.
the bold line was designed for a newer look but some people don't like its exterior (more bulky) performance, this isnt bad but you can get almost the same performance with the curve but spend less money.
the 8520 is an cheaper end of the curves. and for those people whos on a budget and don't want to spend too much money. i would go with this one if you don't want to spend that much money
the 8900's only downside is the no 3g support but other than that, everything is pretty standard.
think of it this way if money wasnt an issue, the best one would be bold 9000 then bb 8900 then bb 8520. BUT thats just my opinion, if anyone else wana pitch in, feel free to.

3G gives you a faster data. if you have unlimited data and use the internet often, you definitely should get 3G phone (makes loading pages faster). on the contrary, if you don't use data much, you don't need 3g. the negative side to 3g is that it'll waste your battery and shorten your battery life.

According to me there are various new phones avaliable in the market but it depends on your specifications such as
1.Brand preferred.
2.Budget you have.
3.Features you required.
So match the one that suits you the best and have it.
